Create your own youtube playlist
On your Youtube account, start by making a Playlist and adding your desired songs to it. Enter the song name + “karaoke” to make sure you find the Karaoke version of that song. You can add as many songs as you would like!
Some songs have many different versions made by many different uploaders. Feel free to find and use the one best suited for you.
SingKing, StingrayKaraoke, KaraokeTV and Musisi Karaoke are examples of some well made Karaoke channels on Youtube.
If you’re looking for a song that’s a bit unknown, you may have to settle for an instrumental version instead of a karaoke version. If you’re lucky, they might have an instrumental version that has the lyrics on the screen as well. You can always test your fandom by singing to the instrumental song with no lyrics!
When your playlist is complete, open it on the “Playlists” page on your Youtube account. Firstly, ensure that the playlist is set to “Public” before you share with us. Press the “Share” button and share via “Email” to bookings@echokaraoke.ca. We will then save the playlist onto our account which you can then access when singing in a room with a Youtube accessible Karaoke machine.
You can even check the total runtime of your playlist on the Youtube Playlist Calculator at https://ypc.vercel.app/ simply by copy and pasting the url of your playlist (in the same “Share” tab in the screenshot above).
We will also have our own house made playlists which you can enjoy as well!
To clarify, this option is only available if you have rented one of our many Youtube Rooms. Our Classic Karaoke Rooms do not have access to Youtube.
